  • Before the 1970’s Catholic churches in general did not expose the Eucharist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for their parish members to spend time with God.
  • Since the 1970’s a unique phenomenon in the Catholic Church has led its faithful to dedicate one hour a week to be with Jesus , the founder of the Church, in the form of the Blessed Sacrament, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • It is interesting to note that the Church has had its priests celebrate the Eucharist in an unbroken chain since the year 35 (nearly 2,000 years ago) when Jesus broke the Bread at the Last Supper, hours before being arrested, less than 24 hours before giving up His Body on the Cross.
  • It is also fascinating to read the scripture telling us that Jesus prayed for Unity precisely between breaking the Bread at the Last Supper and His arrest on that Holy Thursday…surely a last will and testament of His prayer for us knowing of the divisions we were to face in the world.
  • The following website contains a listing of all the parishes in the USA today that expose the Blessed Sacrament perpetually, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Today you can locate these perpetual adoration churches just about an hour’s drive from anywhere in the USA.

16. Extraordinary statement signed by numerous orthodox rabbis on topic of Christianity

A Jewish Understanding of Christians and Christianity

Jews and Christians must bear witness together to the presence of God and to His moral laws. If Jews and Christians can become partners after nearly 2,000 years of theological delegitimization and physical conflict, then peace is possible between any two peoples anywhere. That peace would be our most powerful witness to God’s presence in human history and to our covenantal responsibility to carry God’s blessing to the world. It is the very essence of what makes up the messianic dream.

In this extensive work of author Mr. Greg Biltz, he also reveals how all 7 of the Feasts of the Lord in the Old Testament were in fact Messianic prophecies, along with some very interesting conclusions concerning the exact dates of the birth and death of Jesus, and their relation to the Jewish Feasts of Tabernacles and Passover. Jesus has fulfilled 5 of the 7 feasts.

  • Tabernacles, the Feast of “God with us”, is on the 15th day of the 7th month. celebrates God’s physical presence with the Israelites, a dress rehearsal for the birth of Jesus.
  • Passover, 14 day of first month, Nissan. The sacrifice of an unblemished male lamb. Prophesied Jesus’ Crucifixion.
  • Unleavened Bread, begins on the 15th of Nisan with the Seder Meal, the sacrificial meal for the Paschal lamb and a Todah offering of unleavened bread and wine. Prophesied Jesus’ Last Supper, completed on the Cross.
  • First Fruits, the celebration of the first fruits of the harvest, the third day of Passover. Prophesied Jesus’ rising from the grave.
  • Pentecost, a memorial of the day God himself came down on Mount Sinai in a cloud of fire and smoke, a dress rehearsal for the day the Holy Spirit ccomes down as flames of fire on the disciples.
  • Trumpets , celebrated on the 1st day of the 7th month. The feast celebrates God judgement: when all the world is judged before God’s throne. It is unfulfilled but thought to be the warning or illumination when everyone will see themselves as God sees them.
  • Atonement, holiest day of the year. It is celebrated on the 10th day of the 7th month. It is unfulfilled. It is thought to be when the Jewish nation will acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah. The second event, that must happen before the end, is the conversion of the Jews, the nation of Israel, acknowledges that Jesus was/is the Messiah.
22. Discovering the Unique Path God Chooses for Each of Us: A Journey with Deacon Jack Sullivan

Discovering the Unique Path God Chooses for Each of Us:
A Journey with Deacon Jack Sullivan
By Joe Napoli, friend & neighbor of Deacon Jack

The story of how I met Deacon Jack began in the fall of September, 2010. Word began to spread throughout our town of Marshfield, MA that Cardinal John Henry Newman had been beatified, resulting from a miracle that my neighbor, Deacon Jack Sullivan, had received.

Within Deacon Jack’s book, two official Vatican approved miracles and more than twenty unofficial miracles, hereinafter called supernatural events, are summarized. I must emphasize that each of these graces are supernatural! His work chronicling numerous highly detailed accounts includes signed testimonies and medical documents – expertly prepared in the manner you would come to expect from a former Clerk Magistrate of the Plymouth County Court House!

There were three miracles and supernatural events that initially drew me to Deacon Jack beginning with the miracle of the healing of Deacon Jack’s back as a result of a spinal cord condition. The second miracle involved the placental healing that saved the life of a then three-year-old boy. And thirdly, the supernatural event of the man who regained his sight after thirty years of blindness as a result of a tragic automobile accident in which he lost both of his parents as well as an older brother, at the age of 6. After some reflection of the two miracles and one supernatural event, Deacon Jack and I have often discussed the overarching message of St. Cardinal Newman that the greater miracles are in fact the spiritual backbone– the umbilical cord leading to Pentecost– and the spiritual vision leading to salvation, all which are greatly missing as Saint John Henry Newman had forecasted 120 years ago in his many writings of the light of truth. This lack of moral and spiritual vision was evident throughout America’s great cities during the rioting and violence that resulted from the political climate in 2020.

One example of correcting this void is evident in the growing number of those seeking the Word of God leading many to Jesus. Deacon Jack and I have often discussed the relevance of a small daily devotional book, first published in 2004 and that has sold more than 30 million copies. The book, entitled Jesus Calling, has also reached many best-selling lists on the market. It is believed that this milestone was due to its spiritual depth and prolific messages. The commentaries of the many people who read it express that they are convinced Jesus truly speaks to us by way of a personal encounter through this book, especially when we are seeking a real and meaningful relationship with God. The 4-6 sentence daily reflections of Jesus Calling are all based on Scripture, thus it is not hard to believe that we hear the message of the Living Word of God.
